How to Draw FrankenBob from Minions Step by Step
It’s Halloween, so what better time to draw a Minion dressed as a monster? FrankenBob is Bob dressed as Frankenstein’s monster, with his teddy bear Tim on his head, a stitched mouth, and bolts on either side of his neck.
I’ve broken the drawing down into 4 pencil steps, followed by a final coloring step.

How to Draw FrankenBob Step by Step
Step 1: The Goggles and Eyes
Start with the goggles: draw two large circles touching each other, then add a smaller circle inside each one to form the rim around the lens.
Draw a straight horizontal line across each eye, slightly above the middle. This creates the drooping eyelid that gives him a sleepy expression. Just below that line, draw a semicircle with a smaller one inside it to form the iris and pupil.

Step 2: The Teddy Bear and Stitched Mouth
Above the goggles, draw Tim’s head as a horizontal oval with two round ears. Add two solid black eyes, a tiny nose, a crooked mouth with his tongue sticking out, and a stitched scar on his forehead.
Connect the goggles at the top with a short line. Below them, draw FrankenBob’s mouth: a horizontal line crossed by three short vertical strokes to make it look stitched shut.

Step 3: The Body and Jacket
Draw two straight lines down from the outer edges of the goggles to form the Minion’s body, which looks like a long capsule.
Start the jacket at mouth level. On each side, draw a diagonal line toward the center, then continue straight down, leaving the jacket open at the front.

Step 4: Arms, Legs, and Details
Add thin, straight arms on either side, each ending in a large, rounded fist. Below the jacket, draw two short legs and oversized, rounded shoes.
Finish by adding the jacket’s lapels, short vertical lines on the sweater collar, and a rectangular pocket on each side. Trace the outlines with a black marker. Once the ink is completely dry, erase the pencil lines.

Final Result: Colored FrankenBob
Before coloring, add two Frankenstein’s monster details that aren’t shown in the pencil steps: a gray bolt on each side of his head at mouth level, and a stitched scar on his left cheek.
Color his skin a pale yellow-green, his eyelids green, and his goggles gray. Like Bob, he has two different-colored eyes: color one iris green and the other orange.
The jacket is dark green, the sweater is burgundy, and the gloves, legs, and shoes are dark gray. Color Tim the teddy bear brown, with a pink tongue.
