How to Draw Ben from Steal an Egg

Steal an Egg is one of the most talked about Roblox games right now, and I’ve been eager to start making tutorials for its characters. I decided to begin with Ben, the bunny in the red hoodie who always carries his bat on his shoulder and wears that mischievous smile.

I’ve broken it down into 4 pencil steps and a final step for coloring.

Step by Step: Drawing Ben

Step 1: Head and Ears
Start with his head: rounded at the top, with two small points jutting out around the cheeks and a slightly pointed chin. On top, draw one long, straight ear to the right and another to the left that bends down about halfway. That droopy ear is Ben’s signature feature.
Step 2: The Face with a Sly Look
Draw another line inside each ear. Now for the eyes: almond-shaped, tilted inward, with two circles inside each. Add a few frown lines between them; below, make a triangular nose, a short line going down, and a crooked, sideways smile.
Step 3: Hoodie and Bat
Position the bat resting on Ben’s shoulder, behind the head. His gripping fist is a rounded rectangle, split into four fingers. Then sketch the hoodie with its hood, two drawstrings, the pocket outline, and the other arm with the hand tucked into the pocket.
Step 4: Pants and Sneakers
Finish with wide, straight pants, ending in two big sneakers with laces and defined toes. Go over your best lines with a black marker and erase the pencil sketch lines.
Final Result: Colored Ben
Red hoodie, black pants, and red sneakers with white soles. Leave the fur white; fill the inside of the ears and nose with black, the eyes in blue, and the bat light brown with a black handle. Don’t forget one last touch not shown in the outlines: draw the red mask across his eyes when coloring.
